Fans are convinced Kylian Mbappe was 'born to play for Real Madrid' after what we done in his post-match interview.

Mbappe bagged a brace as Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-1 on the night to progress to the next round of the Champions League.

He fired his side ahead on aggregate when he struck home from the spot before scoring his second goal of the night one minute from time.

Whilst celebrating on the pitch after booking their spot in the semi-finals, fans online noticed what Mbappe did.

After the match, Ilkay Gundogan held nothing back as he gave a refreshingly honest post-match interview following his side's Champions League elimination.

Mbappe also spoke to the assembled press, speaking to outlets from France and Spain.

And he spoke fluently in French and Spanish, impressing fans on social media.

People think he was born to play for Real as he remains heavily linked with a blockbuster transfer to the Bernabeu this summer.

One X user wrote: "This guy was born for Madrid."

A second tweeted: "He might do his whole presentation in Spanish lol."

A third added: "He’s so ready for Madrid."

A fourth commented: "Ready for Real Madrid," while another said: "Ready for Spain."

Mbappe is out of contract at the end of the season and is touted to leave PSG for Real, who have been keeping tabs on the superstar forward for some time now.

If a move to the Spanish capital materialises, then the 25-year-old won't have an issue with the language.

But even though he is set to call time on his PSG career, Mbappe is still proud to represent his boyhood club.

"I have been proud to be here since the first day," he said. "It’s not because there are good moments and bad moments that my pride takes a hit. The pride to play for this club, to represent the club of the capital of my country is something special for someone like me who has grown up in the city. Of course, experiencing nights like this as a Parisian is great, but we are capable of more and we have to remain calm."
