Palmer and Gusto replacements, Sterling starts – Predicted Chelsea lineup vs Arsenal

The predicted Chelsea lineup for their Premier League trip to Arsenal on Tuesday evening with star player Cole Palmer a massive doubt for the clash at the Emirates Stadium due to illness

Cole Palmer in action for Chelsea

Chelsea have no time to feel sorry for themselves after their heart-breaking FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City on Saturday evening, with Arsenal on the horizon for the Blues.

Mauricio Pochettino's team will make the short trip up to north London as Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium to take on the Gunners. Mikel Arteta's men are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and how the Blues would love to seriously damage their rivals' title hopes.

However, Pochettino confirmed during Monday's press conference that Cole Palmer is a big doubt for the match with Arsenal. Palmer, Chelsea's top goal scorer this season, has not trained following Saturday's semi-final defeat because of illness and looks unlikely to take part in the London derby this evening.

So, what does that mean for Pochettino? The man they have relied on so much this season will potentially sit out of tonight's game. Bobby Vincent predicts what the head coach might do below.

Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic
Petrovic had a decent game against Manchester City. The Serbian was probably not as busy as he would have predicted, but nonetheless he was solid when called upon at Wembley Stadium.1 of 10
Malo Gusto picked up a problem with his knee on Saturday evening and was forced off the pitch. By the sounds of it, the Frenchman is unavailable for tonight, meaning his compatriot Disasi - the man who replaced him at Wembley - could return to the starting lineup.2 of 10
Chalobah has been outstanding since returning from injury a couple of months ago. At this point, the Cobham graduate looks to be a shoo-in, but will face a difficult challenge at the Emirates Stadium.3 of 10
Ben Chilwell is still suffering with fitness problems and looks set to miss the trip to north London. That means it is expected to be Cucurella again on the left-hand side of the Chelsea defence, with the task of dealing with the ever-dangerous Bukayo Saka.4 of 10
