Manchester United have received an enquiry from a Premier League rival concerning the availability of Mason Greenwood, according to a report. The Red Devils are expected to try and cash in on the forward this summer following his fruitful loan spell with Madrid-based side Getafe.
Greenwood spent almost two years away from professional football after being charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault. The 22-year-old denied wrongdoing and the Crown Prosecution Service eventually dropped the charges in February 2023.
Getafe opted to take him on loan last summer and Greenwood has repaid their faith with 14 goal contributions in 28 La Liga appearances. Top clubs are now thought to be circling ahead of the summer window, with United's asking price expected to be beyond Getafe's reach.
According to TEAMtalk, an unnamed Premier League side have registered their interest in Greenwood, who has not played in the English top flight since the 2021/22 season.
