Supercomputer makes Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool title prediction and gives verdict on Man Utd and Newcastle’s European chances

The experts at Opta have predicted the final outcome of the Premier League title race as Man City battle for a record-breaking fourth league win in a row.

Manchester City are now three wins away from becoming the first team in English football history to lift four consecutive top-flight titles.

Pep Guardiola’s men continued their pursuit of Premier League glory with an emphatic 5-1 victory against Wolves, with Erling Haaland firing in four and Julian Alvarez adding a fifth from the subs bench.

As it stands, City are in pole position to lift the league title, ahead of games against Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham, but any slip-up could hand the initiative to Arsenal as they chase a first league title in 20 years.

The Gunners claimed their fourth consecutive victory with a 3-0 win against Wolves and are now preparing for a crunch trip away to Manchester United before finishing the season at home to Everton.

The Red Devils themselves still have plenty to play for and their pursuit for Europa League football could well go down to the wire as they go toe to toe with a resurgent Newcastle United team.

As we approach the business end of the season fans can expect a rollercoaster ride of emotions and plenty of twist and turns. But how do the data experts at Opta see the final few weeks panning out?

Here’s all you need to know starting from the bottom and building our way up to the title race.

1 . Sheffield United - 20th Chance of 20th placed finish - 100%
2 . Burnley - 19th Chance of 19th placed finish - 78.7%
3 . Luton Town - 18th Chance of 18th placed finish - 74%
4 . Nottingham Forest - 17th Chance of 17th placed finish - 92.7%
