Mourinho: Still players at Man Utd I didn't want 5 years ago

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hit out at several senior players in the squad.

Mourinho conducted an interview with The Telegraph to talk up his own abilities as a manager.

The out of work Portuguese, who last won the Europa Conference League with Roma a couple of seasons ago, wants to work for a top club again.

“There are still a couple of players still there I didn't want five or six years ago," Mourinho stated to the Telegraph on United.

“I think they represent a little bit of what I consider not the best professional profile to a club of a certain dimension.

“But I did my job there. Time always tells the truth. I would love Manchester United to succeed."

Possible players could include Victor Lindelof, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Diogo Dalot, and Marcus Rashford, who were at United at that time and are still there.
