Where Newcastle United, Chelsea and Manchester United are predicted to finish in the Premier League table.

Newcastle United currently sit 6th in the Premier League table - but where are Eddie Howe’s side predicted to finish?

The Magpies are locked in a battle with Manchester United and Chelsea for European qualification, and their chances were strengthened following Saturday’s 4-1 win at relegation-threatened Burnley.

Goals from Callum Wilson, Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak moved Newcastle one place higher in the league table, and they will hope hope to stay there when Brighton and Hove Albion visit St James’ Park on Saturday.

But for that to happen, Manchester United must fail to beat Crystal Palace on Monday. A close eye will also be kept Chelsea’s home match against West Ham United this afternoon, with the gap between the two sides currently standing at five points.

“We’ve got three games to go and we want to try and give our best in each game,” said Howe. “We want to try and play with the energy and intensity we had today. I thought we looked really good physically with a lot of pace in our team.

“We’ve got those key qualities to give any team a difficult afternoon. Our away form has been inconsistent, it’s really good to see us win on the road in such an impressive way.”

After Brighton, Newcastle travel to both Man United and Brentford in the final week of the campaign. Here’s how the Premier League table is predicted to finish.
