There are a plethora of players set for Selhurst Park exits this summer with Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise reportedly available for no less than £60 million each.

However, according to reports from The Times, the currently injured centre-back Marc Guehi is now another the Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner fears will leave and the England international is expected to receive bids of no less than £55 million.

Both Manchester United and Arsenal have been scouting the 23-year-old who has been out of action since February after undergoing knee surgery to try and ensure he would be in contention for a place in Gareth Southgate’s England Euros squad this summer. Despite his absence from the pitch, he has still remained a key target ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The Red Devils have not been without their defensive issues this campaign. Erik ten Hag has been unable to call upon Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof consistently with both of them ruled out for more than a month with calf and hamstring injuries respectively.

As for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta is aware that Jakob Kiwior’s future at the club remains uncertain and is consequently eyeing up replacements for the third-choice centre-back who has covered for Oleksandr Zinchenko in the Ukrainain’s injury-forced absence.

Guehi, 23, began his career at Chelsea, making his debut in an EFL Cup third round win over Grimsby Town in 2019, before heading out on loan to Swansea City. Following impressive stints at the Welsh side, Palace signed the centre-back on a five-year contract for a reported fee of £18million.

The Ivory Coast-born England star has nine international appearances for the Three Lions, making his senior debut in March 2022 during England’s 2-1 win over Switzerland.

He became the the club’s third-most expensive signing of all-time behind Christian Benteke and Mamadou Sakho and it was also noted that his ex-club Chelsea had included sell-on incentives and the right to match any offers made for Guehi in the future which could affect both United and Arsenal’s potential movements this summer.

The Selhurst Park side are now unbeaten in their last four Premier League fixtures, having recently drawn 1-1 with Fulham. They currently sit 14th in the league while Manchester United sit sixth following their 1-1 draw at home to Burnley and Arsenal sit top of the league after a dramatic 3-2 North London derby triumph.
