The Blues look to have found their groove but whether it has come too late to finish in the European places, we shall have to wait and see.

GK – Djordje Petrovic – 6/10 – flapped at a cross that led to Jarrod Bowen hitting the bar but did save well from a James Ward-Prowse freekick.
RB – Trevoh Chalobah – 7/10 – solid defensively and played a crucial pass in the build-up to Nicolas Jackson’s first goal.
CB – Thiago Silva – 7/10 – a surprise return from injury for the Brazilian who provided the assist with a header for Noni Madueke’s goal.
CB – Benoit Badiashile – 7/10 – looking more like the player who performed so well last season. His confidence is returning slowly but surely.
LB – Marc Cucurella – 7/10 – comfortable when defending or when asked to go in field and play in the inverted fullback role.
CM – Moises Caicedo – 8/10 – was aggressive, won his tackles, and provided the assist for Jackson’s second goal.
CM – Conor Gallagher – 8/10 – works extremely well in tandem with Caicedo. Scored a superb volley but arguably missed an easier chance.
The club need to get a contract in front of Gallagher to sign as soon as possible.
AM – Cole Palmer – 8/10 – opened the scoring with a composed finish and he was a constant threat throughout before being replaced just before the end of the game.
RW- Noni Madueke – 9/10 – maturing with every passing game. Headed in to score Chelsea’s third and then showed some selflessness to assist Jackson.
Pochettino has clearly been working hard on the training pitch with Madueke and his efforts are now paying off.
CF – Nicolas Jackson – 9/10 – Two goals and an assist from the Senegalese international. You can’t ask for much more than that.
LW – Mykhailo Mudryk – 6/10 – didn’t offer a lot in open play but his excellent corner led to Madueke’s goal.
Christopher Nkunku – 6/10 – fans were delighted to see the Frenchman return from injury.
Cesare Casadei 6/10 – came on for Madueke with 15 minutes left on the clock but didn’t make much of an impact.
Axel Disasi – 7/10 – helped to keep a clean sheet after replacing Silva with 10 minutes to go.
Malo Gusto – 6/10 – like Nkunku, supporters welcomed the fullback’s return to fitness.
