Manchester United were well beaten on Monday night as Crystal Palace won 4-0 at Selhurst Park.

A Michael Olise brace alongside goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell secured a dominant win for Oliver Glasner's side to leave United in eighth. Ten Hag's team have won just twice since March, with a 4-2 win over bottom club Sheffield United and an FA Cup semi-final penalty shootout win against Coventry City their only victories.

The Red Devils are now in danger of missing out on Europe for the first time in ten years, with their nearest rivals picking up form just as United falter. Below is the full set of fixtures remaining for United, Newcastle and Chelsea...

Man United - 8th

Arsenal (H), May 12

Newcastle United (H), May 15

Brighton & Hove Albion (A), May 19

Chelsea - 7th

Nottingham Forest (A), May 11

Brighton (A), May 15

Bournemouth (H), May 19

Newcastle United - 6th

Brighton & Hove Albion (H), May 11

Manchester United (A), May 15

Brentford (A), May 19

Verdict: Man United have the tougher fixtures left on paper, with title challengers Arsenal to come at Old Trafford on Sunday. It is possible that their European fate could be decided three days later against the Magpies in what may be a straight shootout for European football.

Chelsea should be confident of winning their remaining games, although a trip to Nottingham Forest could be tricky, with the Reds fighting for survival. Ultimately, it is looking likely that United will end the campaign eighth, their worst finish in the Premier League era.
