At the age of 32, Sergi Roberto has decided to embark on a new football adventure away from Barcelona. The 32-year-old, who became a free agent on 1 July, will hold a press conference on Tuesday 13 August at 12.00 CEST to bid farewell to all Barcelona fans, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'.

His departure was practically a given due to the departure of Xavi Hernandez and the club's difficulties in registering the player, even though he had a proposal to renew his contract.

The Auditori 1899 will be the place where Sergi Roberto will say goodbye to the first team after 14 uninterrupted seasons. He has played 373 games, scoring 19 goals and providing 39 assists.

Regarding his future, the versatile player has five offers to continue playing but has not yet decided on the matter. The player's great dream is to compete in the Premier League.
