Every Liverpool player available for Tottenham as Virgil van Dijk and four more could miss out

Liverpool could be without Virgil van Dijk for the game against Tottenham on May 5 after he picked up an injury. But Jürgen Klopp has a strong squad available.

Virgil van Dijk could miss Liverpool's game against Tottenham.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk is an injury worry for Jürgen Klopp going into the game against Tottenham on Sunday. The Dutchman has picked up an issue and Klopp has said that it's touch-and-go whether the 32-year-old will be fit to face Spurs.

"Diogo [Jota] is not in team training yet, Conor Bradley is, Virgil wasn’t. No, [he will] probably be part of team training today, so we will have to see what we can do there. That is it," said Klopp in his pre-game press conference on Friday.

As of yet, there is no word on whether Van Dijk will be fit to play in the game at Anfield. Van Dijk has been an almost ever-present for the Reds this season, only missing games due to suspension.

Van Dijk aside, only Conor Bradley and Diogo Jota remain unavailable for Klopp. Youngster Stefan Bajčetić could be in line for a call to the squad, but it's unclear whether the Spaniard will be called upon considering his horrible season filled with injuries.

Long-term casualties Thiago Alcântara, Joël Matip and Ben Doak remain out and will be for the remainder of the season. Those aside, Klopp has a strong squad to choose from for the game against Ange Postecoglou's men. Even if right-back Bradley has returned to training, the Tottenham game is likely too soon for him, so he may have to wait until the match with Aston Villa on May 13 to return to the field.

Should Van Dijk miss the game against Tottenham, Joe Gomez or Jarell Quansah will replace the towering Dutchman to partner Ibrahima Konatè. Gomez has been a jack-of-all-trades this season, filling in wherever needed for Klopp, while Quansah has been excellent when called upon throughout the campaign.

In midfield and attack, Klopp has a full selection of players to pick. Despite his apparent spat with Mohamed Salah last weekend, Klopp assured Reds' fans in his press conference there is no issue with the forward and he's likely to lead the line on Sunday.
