Real Madrid No2 Davide Ancelotti: Rudiger wasn't on original penalty list

Real Madrid No2 Davide Ancelotti revealed how Toni Rudiger ended up taking a penalty in their shootout win against Manchester City.

Real reached the Champions League semifinals after knocking out City in Manchester.

Ancelotti recalled: "When there were four or five minutes to go I started to think.

"Jude Bellingham is a shooter, Luka Modric is a shooter, Lucas Vazquez is very good, Nacho has experience and personality and in training we saw that he was determined. Antonio is a player with skills.... Federico should have been the fifth, but he told me he was very tired and it was the truth, he was dead.

"So we decided that Rudiger would kick."
