A striker who is on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur’s radar was spotted at the North London Derby yesterday.

The Gunners picked up a 3-2 win over Tottenham after racing into a 3-0 lead in the first half.

Following Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s own goal, Spurs were caught out on the counter and their weakness from set-piece situations was exposed by Mikel Arteta’s side.

Tottenham did set up a nervy second half after goals from Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son threatened to derail Arsenal’s title hopes.

But the Gunners held on to secure a vital three points and remain on track in this year’s Premier League title race.

And while Tottenham suffered a huge blow in their bid to secure a top-four finish, a target for both clubs was in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Santiago Gimenez spotted at Tottenham vs Arsenal

The Feyenoord striker posted several photos and videos on his Instagram account on Sunday.

Santiago Gimenez spent the day in London and watched on as Arsenal beat Spurs. The striker even filmed Son netting a penalty for Tottenham in the 87th minute.

Gimenez has caught the eye of both sides ahead of the summer, with Ange Postecoglou and Arteta keen to bolster their forward options.

Indeed, it’s been claimed that Spurs have already held talks over a move for the £60 million striker.

Arsenal are also said to be keen as they look for another option to compete with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.

Gimenez stats for Feyenoord

It’s fair to say that both Spurs and Arsenal are lacking a natural No9 at the moment.

Havertz is doing an excellent job for Arteta’s men and Son has also netted frequently for Postecoglou’s side this term.

But both players aren’t exactly out-and-out strikers, which could lead to both north London clubs looking at Gimenez.

The Mexican striker has been in exceptional form for Feyenoord this season, bagging 24 goals in 40 games.

The 23-year-old has also registered seven assists and it’s no surprise to see him attracting interest from the Premier League. This could be one to keep an eye on after Gimenez attended the North London Derby yesterday.
