A deep dive into Wrexham’s latest signing Brad Foster including everything from his career so far to Phil Parkinson’s view on the youngster.
After a great start in League One, Wrexham have once again added more talent to their ranks.
An injury to first-choice goalkeeper Authur Okonkwo left the club short on players between the sticks.
Therefore, Parkinson wasted no time in seeking potential reinforcements and managed to acquire the upcoming ‘keeper Foster.
With little known about Foster until his arrival, The Wrexham Insider has highlighted everything you need to know about the goalkeeper.
Foster was born on October 5, 2001. At the time of writing this makes him 23 years old.
Foster was born in Stafford, England.
Throughout his career, Foster has established himself as a good, young upcoming goalkeeper.
Foster signed for Wrexham in December 2024. The goalkeeper had previously been at West Brom before he was released in the summer.
After training with Wrexham for a couple of weeks, Parkinson opted to sign the 23-year-old and he made his debut in an EFL Trophy match against Crewe.
His first appearance was a success and Foster was voted man-of-the-match against Crewe after keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Upon signing for Wrexham, Parkinson explained that he was pleased to have signed Foster.
“He’s been training with us for a couple of weeks helping us on the training ground because we’re short and during the training week we need goalkeepers to do the shooting practices,” said Parkinson.
“He’s been working with us and is a bit older and a bit more experienced than Liam Hall,” he added.
Little has been said about how long Foster’s contract length is at Wrexham. However, it has been quoted as being a ‘short-term deal’.
