What happened to every player featured in England's 'crazy' U15 squad from 2017

A team sheet showing the England Under-15s squad from 2017 has been doing the rounds on social media, but where are those players now?

This summer Gareth Southgate will take arguably one of the most talented England squads ever to Germany for Euro 2024.

England having a talented generation of young talents is no accident, but a result of careful planning and investment in all levels of the youth set-up.

Details of the England Under-15s squad from a match against Belgium in 2015 have resurfaced on social media, and some of the players are not playing at the highest level. But what happened to the others?

Serine Sanneh

The now-20-year-old goalkeeper has switched allegiance to The Gambia, and is playing for English non-league step five side Rusthall after recovering from a long-term injury.

Matthew Dennis

Dennis was a right-back in 2017, but now he's a centre-forward for League One side MK Dons and has scored four goals in four appearances this season.

Malachi Fagan-Walcott

Young centre-back Fagan-Walcott is currently on loan at Scottish Championship side Dunfermline, although his contract with parent club Cardiff City is set to expire this summer.

Harry Williams

The West Brom academy graduate had to drop into non-league, but he is now back in the EFL with Walsall in League Two.

Attacker Okoflex switched international allegiance to Republic of Ireland, and is currently playing his club football in the Swiss Super League with FC Zurich.

Lewis Fiorini

21-year-old midfielder Lewis Fiorini is still on the books at Manchester City, but this season has struggled for minutes on loan at Charlton Athletic. He now represents Scotland at Under-21 level.

Yunus Musah

Yunus Musah made a name for himself at Valencia, before securing a move to AC Milan last year. In 2020 he switched International allegiance to the United States and has earned 35 caps since.

Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer impressed when he forced his way into Pep Guardiola's squad at City, but since joining Chelsea last summer his form has exploded.

The youngster is currently the joint-top scorer in the Premier League and could play a key role at the Euros.

Noni Madueke

Palmer's Chelsea team-mate has been less influential this term, but looks to have a bright future. He's yet to make his senior England debut.

Rafael Garcia

Garcia was on the books at Everton until 2022, and he is now trying to take the next step of his career in Finland with JJK Jyväskylä. Having not represented England since U16 level, the 22-year-old is still eligible to play for Spain.

Tristan Cover

Left-back Tristan Cover is currently a free agent, having most recently payed in Dubai. He came through the ranks at Fulham and played for several non-league sides.

Karamoko Dembele

The attacking midfielder was once considered a wonderkid at Celtic, but his star dimmed and he joined French side Brest.

This season he has impressed on loan at Blackpool, so there is still potential. The 22-year-old could yet choose to represent Scotland.

Jude Bellingham

It seems crazy that one of England's best player was once on the bench in an under-15s game, but things change fast in football.

The Real Madrid star is among the world's top talents, and last year won the Ballon d'Or Kopa Trophy.

Jamal Musiala

Musiala formed a dangerous duo with Bellingham at youth level for England, but in 2021 he chose to represent Germany.

The attacking midfielder has been tearing it up for Bayern Munich since 2020, although he is being heavily linked with a move to Man City.
