Live and extensive coverage from Wembley Stadium as Chelsea take on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final as Mauricio Pochettino looks to end his first season in style
Chelsea take on Manchester City in the first of two FA Cup semi-finals this evening at Wembley Stadium. The Blues are playing at the national stadium for the second time this season – and a record 30th time since its regeneration back in 2007.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team were agonisingly beaten by Liverpool late in extra-time less than two months ago in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley. And while this is not a final, coming up against a team with the world-class quality of Man City makes it seem like one.
Pochettino revealed during his press conference on Friday that it was his and his coaching staff’s “dream” to finally lift a trophy at Wembley. Winning today would be a huge step to achieving that, with Manchester United taking on Coventry City in the other semi-final on Sunday.
Kick-off for the match is at 5:15pm (UK time) this evening. Bobby Vincent is live at Wembley throughout the day to bring you detailed analysis, live updates and post-match reaction from London.

Bobby Vincent shares his thoughts on this evening's FA Cup semi-final...
It is obviously the most difficult of challenges for Chelsea. Manchester City are essentially a team filled with robots; robots that know how to win a game of football. Granted, they lost against Real Madrid on Wednesday – but that was under unfortunate circumstances.
Hopefully Chelsea can use City's gruelling 120-plus minutes to their advantage this afternoon. Kevin De Bruyne went off due to fatigue, so it will be interesting to see how much of the game he plays. Likewise with Erling Haaland.
Either way, we should get another cracker. It is always entertaining when this Chelsea side play football.
