Chelsea and Manchester City meet today at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Not only is a place in next month’s showpiece on the line, both teams will be confident of winning the competition as a whole if they can get past this test.

With all due respect, neither an out-of-sorts Manchester United nor Championship side Coventry on the other side of the draw will do much to strike fear into the hearts of either Man City boss Pep Guardiola or Chelsea counterpart Mauricio Pochettino.
