Vinicius Junior, who has been voted Real Madrid's player of the month for March, spoke about his team's current form as they are one step away from becoming La Liga winners and in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and said they have to keep going in the same direction to win the Champions League.

"Our moment has arrived, where we always want to be. We've had a very important and good week for us, we have to continue like this to take Real Madrid to the top, which is to win the Champions League", he said after receiving an award as player of the month for March.

Vinicius showed his happiness after a week in which Real Madrid knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League and dealt a definitive blow to La Liga by beating Barcelona in 'El Clasico'.

"I'm very happy with the affection the fans have for me. The best time of the season has arrived, with the important games and being at my best is the best thing I can give them," he concluded.
