Astrid Wett warned she’s ‘ready for war’ as the Chelsea fan rocked up to watch Manchester City take on Real Madrid in a meddling mood.
The adult content creator and wannabe boxer risked the wrath of her rival and City fan Elle Brooke as she cheered on Los Blancos at the Etihad after she announced her allegiance switch to Real Madrid.
Wett put on a big song and dance on social media last week as she announced in a press conference-style video ahead of the first leg between Real and Pep Guardiola’s team 3-3 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu last Tuesday (April 9), that she’ll be cheering on the Champions League’s most successful-ever club.
After supporting Carlo Ancelotti’s side from home last week, Wett turned up outside the Etihad, posing in a Real Madrid home shirt outside the stadium before kick-off, captioning the post: “Ready for WAR”.
And Wett was certainly firing on all cylinders as she taunted Arsenal fan Leah Ray’s post ahead of the Gunners’ second-leg against Bayern Munich at the Allianz, replying: “We’re all Bayern Munich tonight aren’t we?”
Wett also felt mischievous inside the Etihad, joining in with ‘Hey Jude’ playing before kick-off, shouting ‘Chelsea’ instead of the ‘City’ that played over the speakers in front of the subdued home crowd she found herself sat amongst.
Her attendance at the Champions League clash would have undoubtedly goaded her boxing and platform rival Elle Brooke, with her previously feuding and almost coming to blows with the City fan.
Madrid lead at the half-time break thanks to Rodrygo’s goal putting the visitors ahead on the night and on aggregate. Wett filmed her reaction to the first-half’s only goal as she attempted to keep her composure around the glum faces of the City fans.
