Arsenal are unchanged for today’s clash with Tottenham in the north London derby.

Thomas Partey and Leandro Trossard have both kept their places in the starting line-up while Takehiro Tomiyasu continues at left-back.

Despite Mikel Arteta teasing that Jurrien Timber could make the squad on Sunday, he is instead continuing his comeback with a runout for the Under-21s at Liverpool.

The Arsenal boss was always tempted to name the same side which beat Chelsea 5-0 on Tuesday given how well they performed.

Jorginho, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are all on the bench.

“It’s a good headache!” said Arteta of his team selection on Friday. “You feel for the players because you see how much they want it, how much everyone wants to start and contribute to the team in the right way.

“It’s always difficult, it’s part of the job, but as well they’re fully ready to come on the pitch however we need them to try to help us to win matches. Their spirit is very good.”
