Manchester City have decisions to make on a number of key players for their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley.
Pep Guardiola’s side switch focus to defending their cup crown after Wednesday’s painful Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid by way of penalty shootout.
The City boss confirmed that all of Kevin De Bruyne, Manuel Ajkanji and Erling Haaland asked to come off during the loss to Madrid, although remained unclear as to whether that was due to injury or fatigue.
"Erling and Kevin asked me to go out, like Manu, they could not continue,” he said.
“The game we were playing they were amazing and I am not a big fan of making a lot of substitutions but Kevin, Erling and Manu asked me to go out."
John Stones was only able to muster ten minutes in extra-time, so will duly need to be assessed before the trip to Wembley.
Kyle Walker is now free of his recent hamstring complaint, while Nathan Ake returned to the bench on Wednesday.
Ederson has also shaken off his knock but Stefan Ortega is the usual cup goalkeeper for City.
