Ruben Amorim has issued a stern warning to his unsettled Manchester United stars, stating they will depart on the club's terms, not their own. Amidst an uncertain January transfer window, several players are reportedly eager to exit Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford, who has been sidelined from Amorim's squad recently, is openly seeking a new challenge and is in talks with potential suitors including Barcelona and AC Milan. Other United players reportedly looking for a way out include Casemiro, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen.
Casemiro, a Brazilian international, is attracting interest from Saudi clubs as United aim to offload his hefty £400,000-a-week salary. Meanwhile, clubs from Spain, Italy and Germany are eyeing moves for Garnacho, Antony, Malacia and Eriksen.
Despite the potential disruption threatening to distract from United's recent unbeaten run, Amorim insists any transfers must benefit the club. He urged his squad to maintain their focus with four games remaining before the window shuts.
Amorim stated: "Like I said, I want to keep my players, I'm focused on these players. I don't know what is going to happen in this window, we'll see. They are our players, so we have control on that. We decide on that.
"Sometimes it's harder for the players because they have some information, and you can feel it in every team. "t's like that. For me, it's harder to prepare for the game when we lose.
"When we win, we can manage everything, expectations, the bad mood for some players. We'll prepare the game in the same way and just focus on the next game."
