Chelsea have asked ‘dangerous’ loanee to report back to the club, Mauricio Pochettino wants to see him train

Reports have claimed that one Chelsea loanee could now be about to get his chance to prove he can be a first team star.

With the magnitude of players away from the club on loan this season, there was always going to be a range of levels of success for those looking to prove they should be a part of the project at Stamford Bridge.

Andrey Santos for example had a nightmare first half of the campaign whilst on loan at Nottingham Forest, however he is now finally proving his worth over in France at Strasbourg.

As far as all round success stories go, there can be no better this season than Omari Hutchinson at Ipswich Town.

The winger helped his side achieve promotion from the Championship to the Premier League, and his individual displays have caught the attention of local media on a number of ocassions.

Omari Hutchinson has chance to impress Mauricio Pochettino

He was honoured with the young player of the season award at their awards night, mirroring the achievement of Alfie Gilchrist at Stamford Bridge.

He has already had a brief cameo in West London, with manager last season Graham Potter describing him as ‘dangerous’.

The question on everyone’s lips is whether Hutchinson has an immediate future in West London, and now reports have stated that he is about to get his chance to prove his worth.

According to The Athletic, his extended break away from the game this summer is going to be put on hold as he will report back to the club before the end of this season.

Hutchinson could be in for Premier League loan move

It goes on to say that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to take a look at the player and see if he has the capability to feature straight away.

It does feel at this stage that another loan would be the best possible course of action for all parties next season, however this time in the Premier League.
