Newcastle will listen to offers from Champions League clubs that “exceed £80m” for Arsenal target Bruno Guimaraes, according to 90min.com reporter Ben Jacobs.
The Brazilian international has a £100m release clause and fellow journalist David Ornstein confirmed last week that the Gunners are interested in signing the player this summer.
However, Jacobs claims that Newcastle have a “verbal agreement” with the player which means they will open talks with Champions League teams if they bid £20m below his buyout fee. Fans on X are keen for Arsenal to snap up Guimaraes:

Got to say, I like it. Bruno is a player that you hate to play against, but absolutely love if he is your player.

Sporting director Edu has been tracking the 26-year-old for well over five years, with the Gunners having been first linked when he was still back in Brazil at Athletico Parananense.
The London club have continued to track Guimaraes’ progress since then, following his move to Lyon and subsequently to Newcastle at the start of 2022.
Manchester City are also looking to secure the signature of Guimaraes, with Jacobs even reporting that the Premier League champions have contacted the player’s agents.
With Newcastle seemingly keen to offload the Brazilian for the right price, a lot will depend on which team is prepared to stump up the cash.
