Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing ‘the next Mohamed Salah’ who is rated at £52m.

One area where Michael Edwards and his recruitment team will be looking for reinforcements at Liverpool this summer is in the attacking department.

Liverpool’s attackers have been toothless in front of goal this season, and it’s obvious the Reds need to add more productivity in front of goal in order for them to succeed.

That’s why bringing in another attacker who can inspire the team makes sense. Especially an attacker of versatile profile, who can play anywhere across the front three.

Omar Marmoush is on Liverpool’s transfer radar again

One player who ticks those boxes is Omar Marmoush. The attacker is capable of playing on the left-wing, and he can also play in central areas.

In addition to that, he’s also prolific. This season he has 22 goal contributions in 39 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, including 17 in 27 appearances in the Bundesliga.

Now according to German outlet Bild, Liverpool and Tottenham are both interested in his services, and could be exploring a summer move for the Egyptian.

Who is Omar Marmoush and how much is he worth?

Marmoush has been dubbed as the ‘next Mohamed Salah’ [Daily Mail] and he has already made 29 appearances for Egypt’s senior national team at just 25-years-old.

Born in Egypt, he moved to Germany at a young age and represented Wolfsburg and Stuttgart as well before moving to Frankfurt.

According to the most recent reports, he would cost upwards of £52m this summer, with him being one of Frankfurt’s most prized possessions.

So, he won’t be cheap, but Edwards is the master of negotiations, and if anyone can agree a good deal, it’s him.
