The Premier Soccer League-winning player is currently in the market ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Andile Jali is a free agent after his dismissal from Moroka Swallows in the mid-season transfer window.
Since then, the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, who was also a target for Kaizer Chiefs at some point, has not secured a new deal with any team.
However, a recent interview from his agent Mike Makaab hints the 34-year-old defensive midfielder might be closing in on a return to South Africa's top-flight football.
WHAT MAKAAB SAID
"So with Andile Jali, there have been conversations regarding his future. We know how much he is loved by football lovers," Makaab told Far Post.
"I mean, Jali had a wonderful career, and we have to look at a decision that is favourable for him. We are very confident that he still has a lot to offer.
"His next move has to be with a club that ticks all professional boxes. If he makes the decision to continue, we will fully support that. Hopefully, the decision about his future can be final soon."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Jali has massive experience in Mzansi football having spent a decade in competitive football. He has won six Premier Soccer League titles with Pirates and Sundowns.
The former Oostende player has several Cup crowns under his belt and with such experience, any team that will sign him will definitely benefit.
WHAT NEXT?
Jali has to ensure he remains fit to stand a chance of convincing potential suitors to sign him for the 2024/25 season.
It is unlikely that top teams will go for his services, but the middle-table sides might greatly benefit with his services.
