Roy Keane believes a certain Manchester City player acted like a “spoilt brat” during his side’s emphatic 5-1 win against Wolves.

Considering how sensational City were against Gary O’Neil’s side, the last thing one would expect is criticism about any of their players.

Almost every Manchester City player was a class act against Wolves.

For instance, Josko Gvardiol was terrific during the game, often bypassing the opposition press with his line-breaking passing, finding the attackers in dangerous areas and winning duel after duel.

Similarly, Rodri also had yet another game to remember against Wolves.

Unsurprisingly, the £62.8 million man broke up play repeatedly and stopped the visitors’ counter-attacks at the Etihad Stadium.

Keane calls one City player a “spoilt brat” during Wolves victory

However, Rodri decided to go the extra mile against Wolves by providing two assists.

Firstly, the 27-year-old played an inch-perfect cross into Erling Haaland’s path who headed it into the back of the net to double City’s lead.

Eventually, Rodri also assisted Julian Alvarez’s late goal as he put in one of his finest displays this season.

But when it comes to big clubs like Manchester City, even the most minute issues become major talking points.

The same can be said for other top clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid.

A certain pundit did not seem too amused.

That was Roy Keane when Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was visibly arguing with Pep Guardiola after being brought off against Wolves.

“We saw [Erling] Haaland yesterday being brought off, not too happy, behaving like a spoilt brat but because they win the game, he scores goals, it’s almost forgotten about. But because the results haven’t been going Liverpool’s way, that’s highlighted”, he said on Sky Sports.

“But you’d fully expect Liverpool to turn up here [against Tottenham] today, put in a good performance and let the manager in the next few weeks leave on a high.”

When quizzed about whether how Erling Haaland can be excused from his behaviour considering he scored four goals against Wolves for Manchester City, Roy Keane, “No, not really. No, it’s not.”

Much like when Roy Keane compared Erling Haaland to a “League Two player”, he has once again been very harsh in his criticism of him after Manchester City defeated Wolves.

Even if Keane disapproves of Haaland’s reaction to being substituted, to refer to him as a “spoilt brat” is over the top, in our view.

Considering how much Roy Keane won during his career, one would have presumed that he would have liked seeing Manchester City number nine Erling Haaland show a willingness to score more goals against Wolves.

Despite having already scored four goals.

But instead of focusing on Haaland’s desire, and his display Keane has come to a rather harsh conclusion about him.
