Arsenal have been fantastic this season, but a squad restructuring may be on the cards this summer.

Indeed, the north London club have a number of glaring issues within their squad, despite the fact they’re in such a strong position at the moment.

Arsenal need a striker and a midfielder, but there’s also a bit of an issue at left-back as they’ve been using multiple players out of position in that role this season.

Jakub Kiwior is one player who has been used at left-back this season, and speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, James McNicholas has been discussing the Polish defender’s future.

According to McNicholas, there is a chance that Kiwior could be sold this summer, despite the fact he’s been solid this season.

Jakub Kiwior could be sold

McNicholas shared an update on Kiwior, claiming that there is a prospect of the £20m man being sold this summer.

“Even though someone like Jakub Kiwior has made a big contribution and a good season for the most part, it wouldn’t blow my mind if an offer came in for him and Arsenal decided to trade, there is a prospect of that this summer,” McNicholas said.

Jakub Kiwior sale would be very harsh

McNicholas says Kiwior could be sold this summer, and that would be very harsh.

The left-back has barely put a foot wrong this season. Yes, he’s not been incredible at every turn, but he’s not necessarily made any massive errors or looked out of place.

Kiwior is a useful player in that he’s able to play at either centre-back or left-back with ease, and while he may not be a player you’d want to have in your starting XI every single week when you’re challenging for titles, he’s certainly a useful squad player.

The defender should have a future at Arsenal off the back of what has been a very promising second season at the Emirates.
