It has been reported that Manchester City have a youngster who is generating interest from clubs in the Bundesliga.

That has been the case in several other instances.

For instance, when Borussia Dortmund swooped in to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester City in 2017.

Dortmund also got a deal over the line for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens in 2020.

Similarly, Schalke signed Rabbi Matondo, who is currently playing for Rangers in 2019.

Teams in Germany have seemed to have taken more of an interest in young players at English clubs.

Bundesliga clubs interested in signing 20-year-old Man City youngster

When a club has the talent pool that Pep Guardiola’s side have, it is natural that teams around Europe will flock to sign them.

Especially teams that give young players a chance to shine in the first-team.

Borussia Dortmund is the prime example of this phenomenon.

However, the Bundesliga has seen several young players given a major platform to showcase their natural talent.

Ultimately, not every young talent can make the grade at City, such as Jayden Braaf, for instance, who left the club to sign for Borussia Dortmund and is now on loan at Fortuna Sittard from Hellas Verona.

Now, another youngster at City has caught German clubs’ eye.

That is Josh Adam, who the Daily Mail report is not only of interest in the Bundesliga but also the Belgian Pro League.

Additionally, it has been claimed that the 20-year-old could be set to leave City on a free transfer in the summer.

Interestingly, Josh Adam was spotted in first-team training with Manchester City ahead of their trip to the Molineux Stadium to face Wolves.

Not the end of the world for Manchester City to lose Josh Adam

Ultimately, City have a whole host of attacking midfielders in their ranks.

Kevin De Bruyne remains arguably the best in the world, Phil Foden might be the most in-form player in his position in Europe and Oscar Bobb is as prodigious a young number 10 as there is in football, barring Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz.

Furthermore, Josh Adam is yet to break into the first-team for Manchester City.

As a result, losing him to another team, be it in Germany or Belgium is far from the end of the world, even if the Scot is quite talented.
