After playing his 100th game for the England national team, yet another record is added to Harry Kane's lengthy list of individual achievements as Bayern Munich thrash Holstein Kiel in a 6-1 goalfest at the Allianz Arena, thus continuing Vincent Kompany's fairytail start to the season. On his return to club action, the England skipper scored a hat-trick and provided an assist for German sensation Jamal Musiala just one minute into the game.
Pior to the match, the striker counted 47G/A in 34 games for Bayern Munich, needing only 3 more to seal his name as fastest man to reach 50 goal contributions in Bundesliga history. However, Kane had already broken the record before the final whilste even blew, as his penalty in the 91th minute brought up the figure to 51G/A.
With his phenomenal start to life in Germany, Harry Kane obliterated the record previously held by Erling Haaland. The-former Borussia Dortmund goalscorer hit the half-century mark in 42 games - 7 more than the Englishman, who's done in it just 35.
Thanks to his goals against Holstein Kiel, as well the new record, Kane can equally celebrate scoring against all 18 teams he has faced in the Bundesliga. In the German league's history, only Miroslav Klose has faced more opponents and found the net against them all - 28/28.
