Piers Morgan had some fun at Jamie O'Hara's expense after Arsenal's storming start in the North London Derby.

Morgan, a passionate Arsenal supporter, was elated as Mikel Arteta's side secured a 3-0 lead in the first half of Sunday's match at Spurs with goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and an own goal from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. And he did not miss the opportunity to flex his bragging rights on social media during the game.

O'Hara, a former Spurs player, was the intended target after posting: "Up the Spurs, the derail Arsenal trophy is up for grabs today, let's have it," earlier in the afternoon. Morgan humorously shot back, "Hi Jamie - hope you're having a good day."

The former midfielder, who was covering the game for Sky Sports News, was pushed into a corner by his prior tweet after Arsenal's third goal and admitted the game was all but over for Spurs. He stated: "I said the next goal is the one. You ain't coming back against Arsenal from three goals [down].

"Shocking defensively. They've figured us out; teams have sussed us out all season. Set-pieces were a disgrace and this set-piece coach [Nicolas Jover] standing on the sideline like he's Pep Guardiola. It's very easy: all they've done is get five players standing on the back post and they're running into gaps."

When it was put to O'Hara by his fellow pundit Jay Bothroyd that Jover and co have identified weaknesses in Tottenham's approach by doing their research, he added: "It's shocking."

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville, singled out Jover for praise during his commentary on the match. He branded the former Manchester City coach a "little nuisance" after Arsenal's opener before lauding him again after Havertz's goal.

Neville commented: "It's getting messy for Spurs, but Arsenal sending a message - 'over to you, Manchester City'. Set-pieces, Arsenal have been outstanding at them all season. In parts of the season where they weren't playing great football, it was the attacking set-pieces such a big factor.

"They've just got options. The delivery is perfect but there's four or five of them in there all looking like they could get a glance on it. Havertz does. He's on a dream run, the German. There he is again, the set-piece guru gets a hug [from Mikel Arteta]."
