Ancelotti plans rotation for Bayern clash: Five players to be rested

Real Madrid is on the verge of a historic season, with a chance to win both La Liga and the Champions League. Before that, they must overcome Bayern Munich, whose season hinges on their Champions League success.

Carlo Ancelotti wants to rotate his squad to ensure everyone is fully fit for next Tuesday’s crucial first leg against Bayern at the Allianz Arena.

With this in mind, the Italian manager plans to make changes across all positions. Rodrygo, still recovering from minor injuries, will be sidelined until fully fit. Ancelotti also intends to use all five substitutions available to keep his players fresh, according to reports from  AS.

The first leg in Munich is critical. A strong result for Real Madrid would make the return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu much more manageable and put them on track for the Wembley final.

The club is buzzing with optimism, believing they have a real shot at making history. However, they also hold immense respect for Bayern Munich, a talented team capable of causing problems despite their inconsistent season.

Before the Champions League showdown, Real Madrid needs a good result at Anoeta. They can’t afford to lose focus in La Liga, even though the title race looks favorable. Mathematically, they haven’t secured the championship yet.
