Awkward moment Roy Keane gives Sky Sports presenter six-second death stare in row over ‘spoilt brat’ Erling Haaland

The awkward moment left one pundit in stitches

SKY SPORTS presenter Dave Jones felt the full brunt of Roy Keane's death stare as his bitter war of words with Erling Haaland continued.

Manchester United legend Keane had made his feeling about the Manchester City stars performances well known in recent weeks.

However, following blasts of playing like a "LEAGUE TWO" player, Haaland hit back by scoring four goals in a 5-1 thrashing of Wolves yesterday.

Speaking after the game, Haaland had said on Keane's comments: "I don’t care about that man."

But Keane, 52, fired back again today by accusing the Norwegian ace of "behaving like a spoiled brat" when he was substituted off the pitch late on.

Presenter Jones argued: "That's alright if you score four goals though isn't it."

Keane replied: "No, not really. No it's not."

He then proceeded to stare at the host for a number of seconds as an awkward silence blanketed the studio.

Reacting to Keane's cold gaze, one fan said: "Roy Keane looks ready to kill Dave Jones on Sky Sports, that four goal comment was a cracker."

A second said: "Roy Keane just handed Dave Jones his arse on."

A third added: "Roy Keane’s dislike towards Haaland is really going to out do the [Graeme] Souness and [Paul] Pogba memes."

Another said: "Damn😂💔 that's cold."

A fifth said: "Roy Keane is hilarious what the hell was that? I’m sorry you can't do that on national TV."

The silence remained until Daniel Sturridge cut the tension with his laugh as he found the situation too much to stay composed with.

Jones quipped: "We might pick up on that a little later on," with Keane adding: "No problem", before he cracked a little smile of his own.
