Tim Sherwood has shared who he thinks will win the Premier League title out of Arsenal and Manchester City.

As things stand, the Citizens are one point behind the north London club at the top of the table but have a game in hand over them.

Having beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 away from home in their previous game, leaving them with just four matches left to play before the campaign ends.

With another title on the line for Pep Guardiola’s side, one pundit, who knows what it takes to win the Premier League, has shared his thoughts on this latest battle at the top of the table.

Speaking in a recent video shared on the Premier League website, Sherwood had this to say about who he thinks the remainder of the title race will pan out.

He said: “I think Arsenal will win their last three [matches], but I don’t think it will be enough. I just think Man City will win their last four.

“I know Tottenham’s not a good ground for Man City, but the way Tottenham played today [in the 3-2 defeat to Arsenal], if they leave the same spaces for Man City, they are going to get exploited.”

Across their 34 league games, the Citizens have won 24, drawn seven and lost three, scoring 82 goals and conceding 32 along the way.

In comparison, Arsenal have won 25 of their 35 games, drawing five and losing five, as well as finding the back of the net 85 times and letting goals 28 in.

City need to be perfect to win the title

Out of their four remaining games, City have to travel to north London and take on Spurs as Sherwood mentioned.

Fortunately for the Blues, they shook off their poor form at this particular stadium by beating Ange Postecoglou’s side 1-0 in the FA Cup earlier this season.

Also, City have experience when it comes to ending their Premier League campaigns with consistent victories, which is what, we think, they’ll need if they want to get their hands on another trophy, as Sherwood said.
