Arsenal thrashed Chelsea in the Premier League on Tuesday night, and every supporter is saying the same thing about Enzo Fernandez.
The Gunners were incredible against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, weren’t they?
We started the game on the front foot and scored inside four minutes. It was mostly one-way traffic from that point onwards – even though we didn’t score again in the first half.
An 18-minute spell after the break blew Chelsea away, with Ben White and Kai Havertz both picking up a brace to hand us a memorable 5-0 win.
Chelsea’s multi-million-pound midfield of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo looked lost in the middle of the park.
There was a lot of talk last summer when Arsenal smashed their transfer record to sign Declan Rice.
The Englishman was actually cheaper than both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, but some people still questioned if the Gunners paid more than they should’ve.
There were a few Chelsea fans who boldly claimed on social media that they had a better midfield than Arsenal’s, which was as ludicrous then as it is now.
In a massive game on Tuesday night, Fernandez and Caicedo had the opportunity to prove their fans right, but they didn’t lay a glove on our midfielders, did they?
Declan Rice alone was twice the player that Caicedo and Fernandez were, and he was absolutely incredible in the derby.
The Arsenal midfielder earned an 8.5 rating on WhoScored, while Fernandez and Caicedo were given 5.48 and 5.69 respectively.
Fernandez’s score of 5.48 was the lowest rating he has received in his entire career.

You don’t have to be an expert in football to know that Declan Rice is levels above Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
The derby at the Emirates on Tuesday proved that, and while the two Chelsea midfielders constantly get criticised for their price tags, an argument can be made that Rice has been a bargain for us.
Some Chelsea fans have gone on and on about how they’d rather have Fernandez in their side over RIce over the last few months.
Arsenal fans have had their say now after what happened at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
